The BASKRETE initiative is a collaborative project between the Basque University (UPV/EHU), the Materials Physics Center (MPC), the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) and TECNALIA with a twofold mission: On the one hand, BASKRETE will coordinate all the actions which are currently underway in the Basque Country in the field of nanoscience and nanothechnology for cementitious materials. On the other hand, BASKRETE aims to trigger the transfer of high technology knowledge to companies through the establishment of a cooperative program with the industrial agents.
The 1st BASKRETE OPEN DAYS will be held at the DIPC headquarters (How to get to DIPC?) and there will be no fee for the registration. Participants are encouraged to use their favorite travel websites to search for accommodations. The participants are also responsible for the costs of meals (~ 20 euros ).
For registration and for more information, please contact both Dr. Andrés Ayuela (swxayfea@ehu.es) and Dr. Jorge S. Dolado (jorge.dolado@tecnalia.com).
